Back After Much Ado!
Hey everyone!
I’m back! I’m sorry for the unintended break, but nursing school was crazier than I ever expected it would be. It was by the far the most difficult semester, but weirdly enough, I actually enjoyed it a lot. We studied Mother-child/labor and delivery nursing, which was exceptionally difficult. There were multiple strikes against me with this one. First of all, maternity nursing is like learning a foreign language, even compared to other medical stuff, and second, I’m a male who has no experience in that area. Not much help for me with this subject. . .
The main reason I enjoyed this semester was the other section on ICU nursing. As a result of this semester, I now know that I want to work in an ICU when I finish up school. So, Lord willing, I’ll be able to find a position at one of the local hospitals in an ICU as soon as I graduate and pass my boards.
As for now, I am now officially 4/5 of a nurse, which feels pretty good!
Anyways, I hope to start posting more content soon. I’ve had to unwind from a really tiring semester, but I should have some new content uploaded this week for you to enjoy. I wanted to give you brief look into the reason for my disappearance.
My blog may take a slightly different format from what I’ve posted in the past, in order to be able to keep going during the next semester, but I will be continuing in the general vein that I have been writing.
I hope all of you have been well and I look forward to sharing in the Lord with you more in the coming future!
I can’t wait to see more!
Thanks, brother!
Keep it up Marc. You will be done with nursing school in no time. I starting in the neuro-trauma ICU right out of nursing school and I’m really glad I did. It was more challenging than nursing school but the experience was fantastic.
Thanks, Larry! I only had one day in the NSICU and it was a slow day on top of that. Still, I really liked the complexity and the atmosphere on the floor. I think I would really enjoy the challenge of being on that unit once I’m finished.
Thanks for the update, Marc. Looking forward to reading more. Way to go on completing a tough semester!
